About Cactus Flats.
A town worth fighting for. When a broken railway bridge strands you in Cactus Flats, Ol' Jim offers a bed and a share of the harvest. Spend an in-game week working the farm, helping the townspeople, facing an outlaw, and following clues toward something stranger beyond town. Play the free story demo on Steam.
A broken railway bridge turns a passing visit into an unexpected stay. In the free Cactus Flats story demo, Ol' Jim offers you a bed and a share of the harvest in exchange for help on his farm. Over an in-game week, plant, water, harvest, and sell crops; meet the locals; visit the shops; and take on community-board requests. Learn to aim a pistol and dodge incoming fire, then help the sheriff deal with an outlaw. As you find your place in town, clues lead you farther afield and into danger after dark. This visit is the beginning of a wider Western adventure now in development.
